Reviewer Policy
The e-Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Science (eJMPS) follows a rigorous, transparent, and ethical peer-review process to ensure the publication of high-quality scholarly work. All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo an initial editorial screening to assess suitability, originality, scientific quality, and compliance with the journal’s guidelines. Suitable manuscripts are then assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area.
The journal adopts a double-blind peer-review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process. Reviewers are expected to evaluate manuscripts objectively, fairly, and constructively based on scientific merit, methodology, ethical standards, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
Reviewers must maintain strict confidentiality regarding all submitted materials and must not use unpublished information for personal or professional advantage. Any potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed to the editorial office before accepting a review assignment. Reviewers are encouraged to provide clear recommendations and constructive comments that help authors improve the quality of their work.
The journal adheres to the ethical principles and best practices recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). Cases involving plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, or unethical research practices will be handled according to established ethical guidelines.
Reviewer decisions are advisory; the final publication decision rests with the Editorial Board and Editor-in-Chief. The journal recognizes reviewers’ contributions through reviewer certificates and acknowledgments while maintaining reviewer confidentiality.
The e-Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Science (eJMPS) is committed to promoting the widest possible dissemination of scholarly research while protecting the rights of authors and readers. Authors who publish in eJMPS retain the copyright of their work without restriction. By submitting and publishing their manuscript, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, and archive the article in electronic and other media formats.
